Learn2unlock wants you to know that we take our long-standing commitment to privacy protection seriously when it comes to online and internet activities. Every user’s privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Learn2unlock will collect and how it will be used in accordance with the Information Technology Act of 2000 and its regulations.
What kind of personal information do we gather and why do we collect it?
When you register for a course with us at Learn2unlock platform (including Learn2unlock.com) or otherwise use our services, we collect personal information such as your name, designation, company name, email, mobile number, and other details, i.e., the information you provide us at the time of course signup or otherwise at the Website. And any other information you provide when using the website or registering for services, which may be retained in our database and used to create your profile or otherwise.
We gather the data indicated in the submission forms, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid spam identification when visitors write in the Blog/Forum section or otherwise leave comments. The Gravatar service may be given an anonymized string created from your email address (also known as a hash) to see if you are using it. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Your profile image is shown to the public in the context of your comment after it has been approved. Furthermore, automatic spam detection software can be used to check visitor comments.
Learn2unlock collects and treats sensitive information in accordance with the Information Technology Act of 2000 and its standards, as follows:
(i) Login Password: You may be asked to create a password for accessing Learn2unlock courses or Blogs/Forums upon registration, which is secret and sensitive information that is collected and stored in the Learn2unlock database. However, as a Learn2unlock user, you will only utilize this sensitive information to get access to the services; it will not be used or accessed in any manner by Learn2unlock or its affiliates / partners.
(ii) Financial Information: If you pay with a secure Payment Gateway at Learn2unlock, your information is processed by the Payment Gateway, which is PCI compliant and does not keep sensitive information for longer than is necessary. In addition, the aforementioned online payments are subject to a separate agreement with the payment gateway provider.
Otherwise, the Bank Details may be seen on cheques couriered to us for payment of any services, but Learn2unlock never records or processes the whole bank account details for any purpose. We do, however, advocate direct deposit of money into our bank account, either by electronic transfer or by dropping a check.
Additionally, Learn2unlock collects other basic information about you through your usage of our services, such as log files, which may be the result of analytics software or otherwise. To analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement throughout the site, and gather demographic information, log files contain information such as IP addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. IP addresses and other similar data are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
What do we do with it?
Learn2unlock uses personal information (other than sensitive information) to respond to your needs and requests for products and services, to improve user experience, to send transactional emails or notifications that you have requested, to display relevant advertisements based on your location, products/services rendered, and so on.
Who we share your data with?
We do not rent, sell, or share personal information (other than sensitive information) about you with any third parties, unless we have specifically obtained your consent at the time of collection of the information online at Learn2unlock or otherwise offline, and/or to provide products or services you’ve requested, or under the following circumstances:
- We share information with trusted partners who operate on our behalf or with us under confidentiality agreements for the purpose of producing, amending, and maintaining the site, with the exception of sensitive information. These companies, on the other hand, have no independent authority to distribute or use this information for any other purpose than what we have specifically authorized. The Payment Gateway collects Credit Card or other Financial Information in order to process payments, and then deletes it as soon as possible, as stated above. Otherwise, no outside agency has been granted permission to utilize sensitive material till now, but if and when such permission is granted in the near future, the details will be shared here.
- earn2unlock’s administrator may be required to login to the admin panel for troubleshooting, as a result can get access to the personal data, but which purely can only be for administration and troubleshooting purposes.
- Learn2unlock believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of User Agreement, or as otherwise required by law;
- Learn2unlock responds to court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims including intellectual property rights;
- Learn2unlock transfers information about you if our site is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you before information about you are transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy;
Learn2unlock never uses or discloses personally identifiable information collected online in methods or for purposes other than those stated above.
By giving Personal Information to Learn2unlock in the course of Learn2unlock’s delivery of the Services, the User is understood to have consented to Learn2unlock’s dissemination of Personal Information (other than sensitive information) to its affiliates and business partners.
Communication is essential.
Learn2unlock reserves the right to send you communications related to the Courses you have subscribed to, as well as other communications relating to our services, sponsored advertisements, administrative messages, and updates that are considered part of your registered account, with the option to opt out. We’ll also send you emails with information about our current and future services and features.

How do we keep your information safe?

You should be aware that Learn2unlock has no responsibility over the security of other websites you may visit, communicate with, or buy items or services from that are linked from this site. What rights you have over your data
Learn2unlock serves as a data processor under the GDPR, and adheres to the principles and rules of the GDPR. Specifically, Learn2unlock implements privacy by design and default principles, ensures limited data retention protocols, adheres to incident response norms, allows for appropriate third party audits, ensures data is only transferred internationally with a lawful basis, only contracts with sub processors with adequate written commitments to data processing, respects data subject rights, does not process sensitive personal data, and provides data processing agreements to all appropriate clients and partners.
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you may also request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. You can request that Learn2unlock may delete your Personal Information from the system and records. Additionally, you may delete / remove your account anytime at your own free will.
This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. That is, due to technical constraints and the fact that we backup our systems at regular intervals. Personal Information may continue to reside in our systems after deletion for some limited time.
How long we retain your data
Learn2unlock holding sensitive/ personal data or information of providers of information, shall not retain such information for longer than is required for the purposes for which the information may lawfully be used or is otherwise required under the User Agreement or any other law for the time being in force or unless ordered to the contrary by any order of court of law. The information collected shall be used for the purpose for which it has been collected.
The logs and user data would be retained as a backup in our server for at least 3 (three) months from the date of its creation. And otherwise also, we may retain such information in our systems but for a limited period, which may help not only in complying with the laws of the land but also to make sure that we maintain enough backup of user accounts, which may either be required to be restored to the server in unforeseen circumstances or to make available the information to the enforcement agencies, in case of any specific requests received in accordance with the law of the land.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username and/or email). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
